At the AGM in May 2025 it was agreed to introduce the new category of ‘Associate Membership’ of the Edinburgh Royal Naval Club.
An ‘Associate’ will be a person with a strong connection to the Royal Navy and a wish to be included in the Club. There can be no clear-cut definition of ‘strong association’ but I am sure that Members will agree that those with such an association will stand out. Prospective ‘Associates’ may not self-nominate but must be suggested by a full Member and then it will be for the Chairman and the Committee to approve.
